BEFORE RANTING: please know that in
hindsight, I actually do regret the way this video appears. The reality
of the situation was that my aunt was screaming about a snake and I
already had my camera handy so I ran to look at it. I was holding the
camera in one hand while I killed it. then it continued to move so i
asked her to get something quick to finish the job and that is the only
reason that middle video of it still moving exists.
I regret that this video looks like I could have possibly in any way
enjoyed this. When I was editing it I was trying to convey the
creepiness of the situation - not any kind of macabre endorsement of
harassing wildlife.
*ANIMAL CRUELTY IS NOT COOL. EVER.*
However rattle snakes are deadly and small children play on this
property. I called animal control 2 years ago to remove a rattle snake
that I had trapped and they sent the fire department - trucks and all -
to my house, killed it with a special tool, and disposed of the body.
this way i just saved them the trouble. |
